One Great Place to Be

Today I'm being interviewed at Ellie Garratt's blog. She asks very interesting questions. I hope you stop by and say hi to me and Ellie. I'll also give a shout out to The Marine's Queen.

Today and tomorrow I'm working on my A to Z posts for the IWSG blog. I only have to do four of those and have some outlines jotted down. Less than two weeks to go.

A little bit of ice this morning and then hopefully I can stop complaining about winter for at least six months. Sorry you had to read my whining for this past season. I won't even complain about the heat in the summer. I hope to hear the geese flying south soon. No sign of any bulbs poking their sprouts above ground yet.

Now for a little advice from my Old Farmer's Almanac planner. For a good-tempered relationship, buy an engagement  ring on a Wednesday.

My outline is all done for my next book though I don't have even a small idea for a title. I've been helping my husband with some of his work, letting my own fall behind.

Do you know Ellie? Do you remember what day of the week you became engaged on? What signs of spring have you seen?

I'm making some progress on my A-Z posts - not as much as I'd like but I'm getting there.

I don't remember what day of the week my husband and I got engaged, although he probably does. He remembers all kinds of things like that. :)

My husband remembers things like that too, Madeline, but then forgets where he put his phone.

That's so weird about the day of the week to become engaged on. I thought the Farmer's Almanac only talked about weather and planting time. Thanks for the interesting info, and I hope you see those geese soon. :)

I got engaged on a Thursday, which I only know because my neighborhood does these great First Thursdays - the first Thursday of every month there's live music, and art, and snacks all over the businesses. And we got engaged then. I hope that's OK by your almanac...;) And no worries about complaining - I've been right there with you!

Heading over to Ellie's now :)

Oh Susan... that Farmer's Almanac is loaded with helpful advice.

I have no idea when my ex-husband bought my engagement ring, but I remember with vivid clarity when he proposed. Ironically, we were married and divorced on the same date (the divorce coming three years to the day after the wedding). What does the Farmer's Almanac say about that?

LOL. I live in Florida. It's always spring, or summer--which isn't so great for my allergies. Oh well. Eat cheese and be happy, eh?

Looking forward to your A to Z posts!

First day of spring tomorrow! I'm seeing some bulbs peeking their little noses out of the snow at my house.

I'm off to go over and check out the interview!

Nice advice from the almanac. We get smatterings of spring here, but it usually stays cold until July.

Ellie is great! I know we got engaged on a Saturday - but don't know when he bought the ring!

I'm in Miami and the cold fronts weren't a huge deal. I know the people up north had a horrendous winter. Here's to spring coming soon for all of you.

I am curious to see how many people complain about summer this year. For me, winter frickin' flew by, and I live in a snowbelt. Still, it went fast - and I didn't mind the snow.

I didn't have to drive in it this year either, so that helped.

A to Z posts? Oops, I haven't worked on those this week. Thanks for the reminder! I have many, many more to write.
And yes, I'll stop by and visit Ellie!

A few blogs ago. I was there. Great interview. Loved your excerpt. Going to go see if your books are available for Kindle.

I don't know Elle but I'll head that way.

In lieu of a working title, there's always god old "WIP".
