Like many of my blogger friends, I've eased back a bit over the summer months. With my daughter home from college, I've spent lots of time with her. I've been blogging only Mondays and Wednesdays for most of the summer. Starting next week, I'm going back to blogging three times per week again.
I'm going to catch up on my Goodreads book lists and write some reviews. I'm going to tackle some more of that TBR pile. On a side burner is a start of a plan for promotion for First Dragon which has a November release date as of now.
And seriously, I have a lot of pictures on the new camera I got for Christmas and I'm going to start using some of those photos on my blog. I'll probably do some clean up and rearranging of my writing space. I always do that at least twice per year.
I'll also be diving back into The Marine's Heiress, hopefully getting the second draft done within six weeks. After that I have the first draft of the second book in The Morbunda Saga waiting on the shelf. War Dragon will pick up where First Dragon left off. It's great to have plans.
Do you do less blogging in the summer or keep the same routine year round? Do you keep your Goodreads current or do you play catch up with it about once a month like I do? Do you often rearrange your creative space, be it a corner of a room or an entire room that's all yours?

I probably need to clean up my Goodreads a bit, although my current read is correct. I dropped down to two posts a week for July and might continue that through August.
I try to give my writing space a thorough organizing once or twice a year. I also try to keep my blog updated on a regular basis. I'm on Goodreads all the time, though - unfortunately for my TBR pile. :)
I've hsd to do less blogging since I've taken on my grandson again. You do what you can when you can.
Hugs and chocolate,

Summer requires a little more flexibility around here, which is why I cut back to blogging twice a week. We'll see what fall brings.
Everything tends to slow down for me in the summer, so I guess my blogging did, too.
this summer has proved to be a big hindrance to my writing and blogging :)
Life sometimes slows us down, lists and intentions or not, and that's where I'm at for right now. It's all good and a big unavoidable. Sounds like you have ambitious goals!
I'm blogging about the same and so far this summer has given me more opportunities to engage online.
I've been working this month to be more consistent with my blogging because I was blogging and visiting really sporadically for the first half of the year. Hopefully I can keep it up. It's good to rearrange and reorganize once and awhile.
I've cut back on blogging, but not because of the season. Need more time for writerly type things. I update Goodreads every time I start/stop reading a book, though I can go a few weeks without reading when I'm feeling stressed. Since my writing space is usually my bed, and I'm lazy, it stays pretty much as it is. :-)

I am doing a few less posts over the summer and less visiting to other blogs.
But I'm working on the edits for my WIP, so that doesn't help too.
This is a great to-do list, Sue!
I usually blog less in the summer because the Urchins are out of school. I coughfoistcough re-issue at least five or six coughre-runscough past posts each summer.
I've cut back on blogging to focus more on writing and family... it's a fine balance;)
I would LOVE to see those pictures. Looking forward to it. I don't have a blogging schedule, really. Though I do do those Chubba Bubba Mondays and sometimes a Friday Question. But not always on either.
