If you in the mood to do something about your author newsletter, like maybe start it, one of my writers' groups, Pennwriters, is running a class that starts today about Getting Results from Your Author Newsletter by Jessie Clever. It's open to all.
It's amazing how fast this year is going. My days are so busy, but I'm getting stuff done. I'm rearranged my living room nearly every weekend as I try to 'Elliana-ize' it. My granddaughter keeps finding her way into things I don't want her in. On the flip side, I keep having to clean behind and under things I usually only move about twice per year.
I'm also falling back into the old habit of doing a lot of my writing at night like I did when I was teaching full time. It's working for me. Now that Daylight Savings Time has ended, the dark drives me to my writing office. I am dreading seeing snow outside my window. Not too soon, I hope.
"Inspiration exists, but it must find you working." Pablo Picasso
Because I had to do editing this weekend, I didn't get to see Thor, but I play to by the end of the week. Still enjoying Poldark and The Good Doctor. The Gifted is keeping me interested. I heard a rumor over the weekend that Amazon might be working on putting together a LoTR series like a TV show. I'd give it a try though I don't see how they could top the movies.
Hope you go out to vote tomorrow if you're in the USA. Not much for us to vote for here except Township Supervisors and a judge. I'm voting for the supervisor most likely to make sure the road in front of my house gets plowed sooner than twelve hours after it stops snowing. I have simple needs.
"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." Albert Einstein
Do you have any clue what Albert meant by that statement? Does the long dark days of winter inspire you to write or impede you? Do you see Thor? Hear about that LoTR rumor?

Congrats on completing your edits. Hope it's all downhill now.
Enjoy this new week.
Yvonne.
Your 22nd published book?! Whoa, that's amazing. Congrats on wrapping up your final edits for this!
I lived in Alberta Canada one year. I came to work so excited. It had snow. The look on my co-worker's face told me everything before she said, "It will be this way until April(?)". I'm not sure about the month. Except for driving on icy roads, I enjoyed it.
Awesome about your book. When it gets close to release time, e-mail me so I can shout out about it in Follower News. I'm looking forward to the colder weather to stay in more and work on my blog, my writing, and reading. If I can just be more awake at night. And I'll have to check out that Amazon series. Keep me posted.
LOL - we're supposed to vote tomorrow? I had no idea. Obviously I need to come up for air more often.
Congrats on your upcoming release. 22 is a lot of books.
We don't have an election tomorrow, the run-off from the October election is in a couple of weeks. Yes, i will do everything i can to get to go vote because too many people fought to give me that right for me to toss it away.
My thought is that Mr. Einstein meant if we try to oversimplify, we end up over complicating. That has happened to me a couple of times, i try to make something so super simple that it stumps the people it is supposed to help. They just can't believe it's that easy and look for a way to complicate it.
Congratulations on 22 books!
Twenty-two books? Whoa... Congratulations on the next one.
Hope you get out to see Thor soon.
Nice to know you are near the end with your latest book. I didn't realise you had published so many books. I guess I should read them. A friend had the same problem, the publisher of her first book went belly up and she recently got it republished.
I watch Poldark but not any other programmes although I have been watching The Durrell's in Corfu which is on before Poldark. I read all Gerald Durrell's animal books years ago and also the one this programme is based on.
Excellent on the edits!
I love that it's lighter earlier now. Makes me feel more energized, ready to start the day.
22 is great indeed. Congrats! Yep, when the snow comes a hermit-ing we go. Not sure there is a point in the lord of the rings tv show, just trying to become a Game of Thrones rip off probably.
22? That's amazing! Congratulations!
I like to write in the dark, too. That sounded way less creepy in my head, but you know what I mean.
And I don't know what Albert meant, exactly, but I am a big fan of Occam's Razor.
Congrats on finishing those edits on book #22! Very impressive. I'm a crack-of-dawn writer, so if we ever wanted to have a conversation, we'd have to do it mid-day! :-)
Twenty two is a great number! Great job.
I really miss the daylight. And please, no snow...
Congrats on #22!!! I am not looking forward to the darkness of winter :(
We have snow in Northern Colorado this morning. At least 3 inches so far at my house. It's lovely, especially knowing the temperature should get back up to 50 tomorrow and stay nice for a few days. Weather is crazy here.
I quite like writing in the dark. It adds an extra element of mystery! Wow, congrats on 22 books. That is an achievement.
22 books published is absolutely amazing. I have seven out and just not sure if there will be an 8th right now. It's not been a good year for creativity on my end.
I tend to write more in the winter as there are less distractions.
Twenty-two books? Congrats on that!
Congratulations on all these books! And yes, write when you feel like it!
